Commonly used as a finishing for exteriors, stucco gives homes a rough appearance that distinguishes it from other homes. Similar to other home exterior coverings, moss could start to develop on the stucco. The nonflowering plant can trap moisture between it and stucco, thereby creating the perfect environment for fungi such as mold. In addition, moss could cause unsightly stains on the stucco. Take away moss from the stucco at the earliest time possible to avoid damage and discoloration on the outside of your house.
Step 1: Wear protective goggles as well as rubber gloves. Take off the surface moss from the stucco using an broom brush. The stucco should be dampened with the water hose.
Step 2: Place 1-gallon water that is lukewarm in the bucket. Include 1 cup oxygen bleach, and stir it with one spoon till the oxygen bleach disintegrates. Oxygen bleach can remove moss, mold, mildew, and algae without harming and discoloring stucco. In addition, oxygen bleach does not cause harm to vegetation.
Step 3: Attach an extension handle to scrub brushes and then soak the bristles of the brush with the mix. Begin to scrub the stucco with the brush using a back-and-forth motion. Continue scrubbing until you've completely cleaned the stucco.
Step 4: The oxygen bleach mixture should remain on the stucco for fifteen minutes. This will allow the bleach the chance to remove the moss and any leftover mold. Clean the stucco by using the water hose. Continue the procedure as.
Tips: You can find oxygen bleach in the laundry aisle of a variety of department stores.
